The SADIe Experimental Prototype Proxy Transcoder is a tool that uses the structure of web pages to modify the content of the page in order to make the page more accessible. This is achieved by applying semantic transcoding to the page. SADIe uses ontologies to capture the semantics of the CSS Stylesheets and XHTML to make implicit information on a web page explicit.
The Web 2.0 Widget Catalogue is a Web Service that allows applications to query for descriptions and definitions of Web 2.0 Widgets, such as Auto Suggest Lists, Tab Boxes and Slide Shows. The Web Service for the Widget Catalogue can be called using methods that return an XML description of the Widget being searched for. The description includes links to formal ontology definitions of the widget and links to demonstrations of how the widget operates.
