Developmental Applications, Services, and Models
During the course of its research, the Web Ergonomics Lap creates a number of experimental prototypes that act as proof of concepts. These prototypes are made publicly available to use as an online Web-based Service, a tool that can be downloaded and used locally, or a knowledge model that can be used as a basis for future research and development. Video demonstrations are also available to show how some of the prototypes work.
- Web Services
- These prototypes can be run via any browser or Web enabled client but since they are still under improvement we cannot guarantee that they are stable, nor can we provide technical advice and support.
- Client-Based Applications and Browser Extensions
- Client-Based Prototype Applications are prototype experiments that need to be downloaded and installed locally to work. While the prototypes are functioning to demonstrate a research concept, we cannot guarantee that they are stable, nor can we provide technical advice and support.
- Knowledge Models
- In some projects, Semantic Web technologies are used to improve the accessibility of Web pages. As part of these projects, a number of ontologies have been developed, that can be used for modelling and defining Web resources.
